Astronaut/Alumna Nicole Stott on Three-Month Mission at International Space Station
Astronaut Nicole Stott, an Embry-Riddle College of Engineering alumna, is currently living and working aboard the International Space Station, where she's a flight engineer assisting the ongoing construction and maintenance of the station.
Stott holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle and is one of six Embry-Riddle alumni who are current or former astronauts. Stott and fellow Embry-Riddle alumnus B. Alvin Drew have been assigned as crewmembers to the final Space Shuttle mission, scheduled for September 2010.
